My cousins sent me this autographed edition from Alaska, where they had the opportunity to meet Lance Mackey. It's a wonderful, heart warming story and you can't help but learn about mushing from reading this book!

And the last book I read in 2012 becomes the one book I want to buy 20 copies of to give to friends. Friends who've survived serious medical issues, friends who live with chronic medical issues, friends who love animals, friends who train and compete with four legged teammates.

Start 2013 inspired...read this man's story.
