I loved, loved, loved this book! Light enough to be a "summer read" but revolving around an important subject of feminism and women in science.An engaging story with couple of surprises and very well developed characters one of them being a dog, 6:30, will stay with me for a while.I especially loved how chemistry and science in general is shown here as such an important part of life. I heard this one is being made into an Apple TV series, which is exciting!

This story was so over the top, but I enjoyed it nonetheless.
I liked that we got a spectrum of perspectives of that time period: men who aren't misogynistic but don't speak up, women who are abused but abide by the system, even a dog who's curious about the world. The characters aren't one dimensional. There's characters who grow but there's also characters that are staunchly themselves.
This story is about feminism, family, love, guilt, and so much more. There were some scenes that made me emotional - especially the impact the MC, Elizabeth, made on others. I wish the ending had more of a punch but it wrapped up everything nicely.
