I would give it 5/5, but the ending was so gratuitous. It was genius, though. I laughed. I cried. I loved the dog Six Thirty. Books are better with dogs as fully realized characters. It was so much more than what I expected from the cover. It is a cute cover, but the book is oh so much more. I love that the author has such varied experiences professionally and personally, which the reader can tell from her skillful writing. Such an enjoyable read but also a clever, creative, and important read.

I loved this book, might not be the best depiction of science but it’s a fun read with a strong depiction of the sexism that perpetuates work cultures.

I'm astounded at how good this book is. I seldom give 5 stars, but it's warranted.
I was exceedingly heartbroken and furious to the point of boiling for about 99.9% of the book, and it was perfect.
Read this, and get mad.
