**Spoiler Alter** Overall I thought this book was really well done. I liked the story and I enjoyed reading about Elizabeth and her chemistry cooking show. I was really upset about Calvin's death, I really liked him, but I liked how the story portrayed Elizabeth's grief. I also really like how we got to hear from Six-Thirty's perspective. I thought that was very new and interesting. I really liked the messages of Elizabeth's cooking show and how encouraging and realistic they were. My biggest complaint about this book was the ending. I felt like it was really rushed and almost a little juvenile with the way it ended so quickly. I felt like the whole book was really well thought out and planed and the last chapter where all the lose plot points are wrapped up was like the author said "whoops, I forgot about these, let me just write this really quick," which was really disappointing to me. I also would have liked to see Elizabeth receive some recognition for her work or maybe see her returning to college to earn the PhD that she so rightfully earned and deserves to have. I feel like that would have acted as a full circle moment to give the story more closure and to show more of Elizabeth's healing journey.

I love this book so so much and Elizabeth Zott is an icon. I hope to be as much of an undeterred feminist as she is moving forward.

This was a fun yet quite serious book about a topic that is as relevant today, sadly, as it was at the time frame in the story. It spoke to me and my experiences in the late 1960s and 1970s work world. The humor in it is subtle yet delicious. A true gem.
