This just came down to the fact that this book wasn't written for me. I think my 14 year old niece would love it.

I just read a better version of this book in Rebel of the Sands

Really good

Trying to find a book series to read after reading ACOTAR and I stumbled across this series. Very glad I found it. Can’t wait to read more about Kali.

Friendship

This book had me laughing on minute and then sobbing the next. I thought I had it all solved and then bam a twist. Kali and Jaya are the type of friends people long for, always thinking of each other before thinking of themselves.

engaging plot; characters somewhat flat; curious what other books might hold as this is a debut
