This book was really good, I can barely process everything that went on.
But I must say Sarah J Maas loves us to feel the heartache before she heals it.

My only issue was this book was SOOO long, it felt like it was going on for ages.

There was never a dull moment. I think this might be my favourite book in the series, but I will find out after I finish the entire series.

The King of Hybern is trying to fortify his army to break the wall and go beyond it to the mortal lands. Feyre, attempt to stop it gets caught and finds out Tamlin is siding with Hybern. She has to break her bond with Rhysand and go with Tamlin. She plays a very dangerous game to sabotage Hybern’s plan and Tamlin’s court.

In the meantime, Rhysand tries to form allies with all the courts to fight against Hybern. The war is brutal and you will be surprised to see what happens during the war. Rhysand and Feyre both fight hard and use their smarts to get through it.

There was a flicker of moment when I cared a TINY bit about Nesta but I still hate her. I don’t get what’s to like about her. I don’t see any reason for someone to be such a coldhearted b*tch throughout four books, and then become the main character in the final book of the series. Let’s see if the rest of the series can change my mind about that.

I think ACOMAF is still my favorite, but I had a really good time with this one too. It's also the only one of the original trilogy that got me to shed tears so. That means something lol. I thought it was a pretty satisfying ending overall; there were some characters introduced that I wish we'd spent more time with, but I'm just hopeful they'll show up in future books.
Tamlin has been demoted to public enemy #2, because Ianthe took his spot as public enemy #1. At least she died a horrible death, as she should have. I still can't find it in myself to feel any sort of sympathy for Tamlin though, I'm grateful he helped bring Rhys back to life, but honestly, he could rot and I would not care lol, sorry not sorry.
Overall though, it was a satisfying conclusion but I'm glad it's not the end of this world or these characters.
