I‘d say the pace is a bit weird at places. The first 100p a lot happens, then nothing for 300p or so and then the finale hits. That finale is grand though. And though I wish some characters had been integrated into the sory better and focused on more, if you love the main characters you‘ll have a splendid time.
The author is very good at
capturing the main characters’ trauma as well as writing genuine horror elements into the plot where you least expect them.
Any complains I do have mostly stem from the previous two installments and differnece in taste between me and the author. I can respect that she focuses on other aspects of the story and characters and her disregard for things I would have love to see.

The main characters have plot armor thicker than Kallias' fur coat.

If they die, let them die. Don't bring them all back immediately. It's a war god damn it, let the stakes be higher than the bar I have for men (it's on the floor). The whole ending left me disappointed.

This is my 2nd favorite book of the series. I am a huge fan of feyre and her destruction of the spring court. Burn it all to the ground baby. Did not think it was possible to fall harder for rhysand. The political intrigue in the book is intriguing not angsty. The battles epic and realistic reactions to experiencing such things. I love the built family and the support they all have for one another.

Rating: 5 stars

Feyre and the Night Court must create alliances and battle ancient magic to save Prythian.

As the third book in the series, there isn’t a ton I can say without a lot of recap and spoiling, so I’ll keep it short. This one was a tad long for me and didn’t have the impeccable sexual tension of ACOMAF, but it was nonetheless an absolutely phenomenal roller coaster ride the whole way.

CW: Blood/death/war/grief; kidnapping; misogyny/sexism; torture/violence; sexual assault; domestic violence/physical violence
