Read for free on my Kindle, from Project Gutenberg.

Parts of this were extremely funny, and one or two actually made me laugh out loud. The rest is rather patchy in quality, though, and by no means as good as his 'Three Men' series.

An adorable, very touching book.

“What readers ask nowadays in a book is that it should improve, instruct and elevate. This book wouldn't elevate a cow. I cannot conscientiously recommend it for any useful purposes whatever. All I can suggest is that when you get tired of reading "the best hundred books," you may take this for half an hour. It will be a change."

“Празни мисли на един празен човек” - книга, която няма да забравя дълго време.
Толкова разкрит екзистенциализъм, пречупен през призмата на сатирата. “Празни мисли”, овековечени през далечния 19. век, а човек и днес открива себе си, своите интимни мисли и душевен гнет в тях. И сякаш те за малко намират покой. Ще се препрочита!
emotional funny inspiring lighthearted reflective fast-paced

Easy read for people in need of thought provoking phylosophy about life. It's about how a poet sees the world. It's so joyful because it has a romantic aspect to it that you always idealise. Perfect book if you're overwhealmed by too much non-ficiton (Both for listnening and reading)

As always, JKJ's ramblings were very funny, but he also used it to throw in difficult truths. I love how relatable this man from 137 years ago was.
funny lighthearted reflective slow-paced

Humourous essays on a range of topics, that quickly veer off on tangents. A little dated, but more notable for the truth that still rings through. Quite quotable and witty too.

definitely a good break when reading something more in-depth and educational
