This is a great story of a boy who is sent to school with a robot (one of his mother's experiments). It is also a story of the love a family for each other. Sammy is not told by his mother the importance of the robot, through trials and tribulations, the boy not only learns to trust his mother but learns to love E. Oh there is a mystery in this on to, I don't want to give anything away. On to the next book.

This was a good book. I think that the second one was the best in the series. However I really enjoyed it. This was a great story of family and again sometimes how people get busy and have their own things that take up their time and how everyday things can take a the back burner, but in the end everything works out. It also shows how a small idea or thought can make a big difference.

I tend to give anything james Patterson some serious side eye--the man is the Ikea of fiction. But like Ikea, he knows what he's doing. This book was entertaining and heartfelt. My robot obsessed boy loved it and begged to continuing listening.

Listened to the audiobook during a road trip. It was funny and perfect for elementary school aged kids. As always you can go wrong with James Patterson.

Sammy Hayes-Rodriguez has to deal with bullies and the fact that his little sister has a disease that prevents her from attending school. She is the reason why "E", the robot that attends school, was created. Sammy's mom, Dr. Elizabeth Hayes, Robot Engineer at Notre Dame, invents robots to make life easier for her. This explains the title of the book and readers will enjoy all the different robots that help around the house. Sammy shows great admiration for his little sister and learns to appreciate "E" and his role of helping his family and friends. House of Robots is such a relevant story. I loved reading this book with my son (age 9). He was drawing and dreaming up ways he could have a his own bro-bot to take to school.

Thought this was very, very American and not very well written, but my son really enjoyed it.
