This is one of the best danmei I've ever read. Especially this volume. However, I have spent the last 70 pages uncontrollably sobbing so there's that. I feel as broken as Gu Mang's mind right now. Also loved that this volume featured Mengze a bit more and started developing her personality more. I can't wait to read the next volume even tho I'm sure I won't be very okay while reading it.

alright, alright, the plot twist was pretty damn good
I still think it taking 4 entire volumes to get to where we are right now is overkill, and I still think the first three volumes were boring and didn't make me care very much about what was going on. BUT, this plot twist is pretty good considering it's basically just. I also think that after Gu Meng .
I'm definitely interested to see where this goes considering everyone keeps telling me the ending of this is so incredible. So, I will be continuing, but I doubt this is going to be a top fave or anything like that.

This volume ripped my heart all the way out.
