I wasn't into this book at first but after reading a few more poems I was really into it! Sax talks about gender, mental health, suicide, sex, and buttholes. I highly recommend picking this one up!
Minor: Suicide attempt, Rape, and Suicide
There are some poems that imply rape or sexual assault. There are also some poems that talk about suicide and suicide attempts.jayisreading's review against another edition

I wanted to like this collection more than I did, but something didn’t quite work for me… possibly the pacing? Whatever it may be, it sort of took away from a particular cohesion that I was hoping for and left me feeling indifferent (especially at the start). I think what kept it from falling apart was sax’s talent in writing in such an evocative way in their reflection on death and queerness in particular. The recurrence of these two particular themes helped.
Some favorites: “Bildungsroman,” “New Gods of an Antique War,” “Weather Underground,” “Naubade,” and “Poem about Water”
Graphic: Sexual content
Moderate: Suicide, Addiction, Suicidal thoughts, Death, and Drug use
