Ranger to me was the best book. I laughed, cried, freaked out, and felt the emotions and feelings of these character (Ranger and Sydney). Ranger has been my favorite brother through this whole series and finally ending with his story just makes me love him even more. I felt the author in this one the most. The detail to the feelings of these characters I could feel deep in my soul. I will be reading this series a lot.

I read this because of the dedication and of people's recs that the MMC was loosely based on Spencer Reid out of Criminal Minds. It did not disappoint! I throughougly enjoyed this book. I really liked how it was written and how Ranger was just so adorable and unexperienced in the bedroom department. It was just so informative 😂 Best romance I've read in a while, I'll probably read the other 3 books in the series, too, which are based on Rangers brothers.

3.5

3.5/5 - I think this was the best book of the Reynolds Protective Group series - although I did enjoy reading in order because there were little Easter eggs of past books in the later ones. It was cool to have an update on time period after the characters respective book ended. It also makes me love it more that this was loosely based on Spencer Reid from Criminal Minds - he is one of my favorite characters in a series. Although - I don’t think the other three followed Rossi, Hodge or Gideon 🤷🏼‍♀️

I will say there were a couple of cringey scenes (more in this book than the 3 before) - but I feel like most romance books have at least 1-2 of these. Anyways - not the best series I’ve read but decent. If you are looking for a stupid smutty romance series with some mystery/crime - you’ve found it.

Oh PS - still agree with my previous comments that these are Temu’s version of Lucy Score’s Knockemout series.
