I loved the Reid references, of course, and the small town characters are so endearing. Those things aside, this one was a little weak for me compared to others in the series. Worth the read for the CM references but I’m not sure I would’ve stuck with these books if not for that.

Wish the MC was a bit more layered. She doesn’t have much of a personality.

DID NOT FINISH

Listen. I'm all for people publishing their fanfics. Get that bag girl. But you have to make some changes if you're going to market it as its own thing.

This wasn't "inspired" by Spencer Reid, this was a Spencer Reid AU fanfic. And the worst part is that it did him no justice.

If you are going this route, you have to delete the lines you plagiarized from the show. I dnf'd immediately after I read the mmc throw out Spence's 'it's safer to kiss' line about germs. It was like dropping something that suddenly caught fire. I felt like the FBI was going to come arrest me for copyright infringement just for reading it.
