Not the first Colfer I don't really like. I'm just not ood with parodies other than Adams... and albeit this book describes well (?) the relationships between young and old people and the message is not for nothing, I found this to be a bit too dull, predictable and lecturing read for me to enjoy. Perhaps I'm just too old for this, perhaps I just have had my share of Colfer w/Arty F.

Wow! Eoin Colfer doesn't need Artemis Fowl to write a good book. I enjoyed this one.

We read this book for our book club and I liked it but it wasn't really my style. I thought it was a bit predictable. But I did like that it was all about redemption and that there was a new fresh look at the whole concept of the afterlife. I really liked the relationship between Meg and Lowrie and I liked that the characters were very believable and well written.

I thought it was a great book just because of the ideas in it and the amount of fun it was to read...

I wasnt expecting the ending, but it wasnt quite enough to be a plot twist. still loved it though, great plot and story line.

This book was fast and sweet. But I felt rather sad the whole time I was reading it. This book is about a girl who dies. She has to help an old man fullfill his bucket list and is chased by a half boy half dog from hell. I liked this book a lot but just something about it made me a little sad throughout.
