A good, quick read. Full of action, yet still has character development.

Ugh I have enjoyed reading all the other Khoury novels but I could not bring myself to finish this one b/c the boys mother dies. Sorry.

I was SO disappointed by this book. I had read the two previous in the Templar series and greatly enjoyed the back and forth between present day and ancient times. Based on the cover of this book (and the prologue), I was expecting the same type of story. I definitely got burned by not heeding the old adage of "don't judge a book by its cover."

Instead of a book about ancient medical cures and the amazon rainforest, I got page after page of a drug lord saga with a late addition of a reincarnation storyline.

It is very possible that a reader coming to this book without my expectations would have a vastly different experience.

I really don't know why I kept reading it beyond that I just kept hoping it was going to turn into the book I wanted it to be. It was a waste of three weeks of my reading time.

Why is this book even part of the Templar series? Yes, the characters of Tess and Sean are in there, but we're lacking an essential part of a TEMPLAR book - any appearance by TEMPLARS.

Absurd and reasonably interesting, like his previous two books.

Very realistic characters. Plot thickened constantly in believable ways.

Great author, this book had me on the edge of my seat.
I would end a chapter, try to put the book down, but had to know the characters
We're ok and could continue their mission.

Oh my goodness. I don't know how this book ended up on my bookshelf but I am so glad it did (I really do not know how I came to possess the book). So many twists and turns- I kept thinking I was on to something only to be caught off guard with some new revelations. Great read!

This is the first book I ready by Raymond Khoury, and most likely it will be the last too. I bought the book after reading the description in the cover. I expected a book full of adventures and mysteries in the rainforest (Something along the lines of 'City of the Beasts'), and I couldn't have been more wrong.

The book lacks emotion, it doesn't hook you up. The mystery takes too long to show up, you feel like there's no progress and no story for most part of the book... and then magically it all ends in the last chapter of the book.

Definitely very disappointing.

Absolutely loved it it was a fun action adventure movie that had a really good pace and kept you guessing on what was going on until the very end. It was fun to see the mixture of different law agencies and how they would work probably together in real life. Moved at a really great pace and kept you wanting to read more. Had some nice development for characters and plot and I like reading the third book of the series.
