Dear GR Friends,
I am not a polygamist, nor do I wish to be one, but I really wish I could be Janelle's friend!!!!!!!!
This book is a compilation of Kody Brown's 4 wives individually sharing intimate details that range from courting to openly practicing polygamy. If you're a fan or the show, you'll enjoy this book as it goes into details that have not been aired on Sister Wives.

I give this book a high score because I enjoy the tv series and wanted to learn more about them. The book gave lots of info and I enjoyed all of their own takes on their lives. I find different cultures and beliefs interesting and this one is no different.

I love reading about cultures and values that are different than mine. With everything that is stigmatized about the FLDS church, I wanted to learn more about plural marriages. This book was great. If you didn't know that they were polygamists from their TV show, you would never have guessed it! They are normal people, leading normal lives with their children. Their love for their family knows no bounds. This is a great book to change the stereotypes surrounding polygamists.

I read this for dramatic irony, and it does not disappoint. Meri and Robyn are as terrible and boring as they are in the show. Poor Christine. And Janelle is definitely selling herself short.

not much was learned about the brown family except that meri used to tell janelle her makeup looked bad, meri was very difficult to live with, and that robyn’s idol is oprah.

What can I say, I'm just addicted to Sister Wives. I started watching the tv show with my roommates and i've been hooked ever since. I just find something so fascinating about the whole life style. I thought that this book that while sort of poorly written goes even deeper than the show. There is a much richer back story than anyone could have expected and its interesting to see the actual relationships between the sister wives aside from Kody. I just can't get enough!
