This was the perfect book to read after I finished a heavy book like Chain Gang and needed something light hearted. All these years later I still enjoy Rainbows writing, as critical and cynical as I try desperately to be. My biggest complaint is how much the word “fat” is used throughout these short stories.. what’s going on with this?

five stars for baz and simon gracing my life once again and also a character driving a scion xb, god’s favorite car
If you read pretty much every Rainbow Rowell novel, you will absolutely love this collection of short love stories. There are some that give preexisting characters a little bit of a sequel short story (Beth and Lincoln of Attachments, Simon and Baz of Carry On), there's one where a side character gets a spinoff (Reagan of Fangirl) and a couple that are totally new, and a heart wrencher story at the end that ties them all together in a lovely way.
