This book was amazing! It focuses on a group of women who are trying to protect someone about to get married. Spoiler for something that happens about 30% through:
When someone gets killed in the process, they must band together to avenge her death.
Also, it supposes a world where homophobia doesn’t come into the picture, which makes me happy. The ending kept me on my toes, but it was a satisfying ending!

It's alright.  It's nice to see lots of textually bi characters and a multi-racial cast, especially in a fantasical pseudo-Victorian setting, but it didn't make a huge impression.
