Tbh this book was pretty boring. Heard it was a slow burn and the only thing they reveal about the plot is her arranged marriage. Majority of the book has nothing to do with that and there was little to no romance. Lacked a plot.

Its just didn’t get me… the premise and the story have potential, but then i dont know why im struggling. World building just eat the 80% of the book (in mu opinion). The characters, can’t connect with them… im so pity to Ophelia, the MC, its like a sheep thrown to the Lion’s den. She didn’t know whats happening to her. She is lost as Im the whole time.
Lecture fluide. J'ai aimé l'originalité de l'univers, la multitude pouvoirs propres à chaque clan, les intrigues politiques et le fort caractère de l'héroïne mais clairement ce tome 1 ne se suffit pas à lui-même. Il présente bien l'univers mais l'intrigue principale avance trop peu. J'ai eu l'impression d'avoir passé pas mal de temps dans une salle d'attente. Je ne me suis pas ennuyé mas l'événement tant attendu jamais n'arriva. Malgré ces bémols, je suis tenté de lire la suite.
