Moomins feel so different when you’re older. A bittersweet nostalgic feeling.

Papa Moomin often acts so smug and self-absorbed, but for the most part, it's charming, like an old man might be relating the tales of his life and maintaining his dignity til the very end. I also loved many of the characters, especially the Joxter, whose attitude toward life is one I'm trying to take to heart. It's an endearing little book that I can confirm will give you some of the nicest dreams; so I think it's a good idea to continue reading what I can find from the Moomins series.
