 The things this book talks about are extremely interesting and I learned a lot but the thing about the deep sea is that we don't know very much about most of the things down there and this left me a little frustrated. I want to know more about the deep sea coral reefs, the weird metal pebbles and the armoured snails but there just isn't a lot to know yet which is very unsatisfying!

Much of this book is also concerned with the effects humans are having on the deep sea and the ways that will impact/does impact the rest of the planet and that was pretty depressing so maybe avoid this book if you are sensitive to climate change doom.
