The second book in the Booksellers series was not as good as the first. It was good and I enjoyed it, but there just didn't seem to be the same energy and to be honest the ending left it all feeling a little flat. If there is a third instalment I hope that the things that were not really answered are explained.

It took me a little while to remember what had happened in the first book, but I had fun rediscovering this world. I absolutely love Susan, Merlin and Vivien's relationship, the trust that they have. I also liked the new Ancient Entities we got to meet throughout the book, especially Sulis Minerva. The ending was very interesting, and I hope I get to explore the ramifications in another book.
Another fun trip around 1980s England with Susan, Merlin, and Vivian! Centered around Bath this story is full of all the fun things… magic, legend, ancient beings, a little bit of murder, mystery and heroics.
After Merlin is accidentally transported to a realm outside of space and time, Vivian gets Susan to help get him back. During their escape back to 1980s England they discover the unknown being who has created this space outside of time has been kidnapping and murdering humans. They set out to discover who this being is and why they are kidnapping and killings humans.
Such a fun read, I really adore these characters!
