This series is the fucking best and I FUCKING LOVE IT!!

I was so fucking shocked when Shirogane decided to drop the act and start being honest with Shinomiya, mostly because it shows growth on his part but also because it completely threw off Shinomiya! What was most interesting about it was how Shinomiya instinctively thought it was a trap and how her thinking relates to the mind games she's been playing with him AND how she was raised to view social interactions. It's a subtle touch, but rewarding nonetheless.

As usual, everyone is an absolute asshole and I love it! I know I've mentioned it in my Yuri is My Job! reviews, but I have a fondness not just for unlikable main characters, but a cast of truly dysfunctional and warped people. Sprinkle in some over-inflated egos and ulterior motives and you got yourself an entertaining rom-com. I also love the fact that there really isn't one nice person in the main cast because it's not as entertaining (for me at least) to see one nice person get beat down by a group of assholes, but a group of assholes being assholes to each other is FUCKING HILARIOUS (when done right).

The final chapter was really interesting and shows how much Shirogane has grown since the start of the series. I'm looking forward to seeing more of his interactions with Shinomiya, as well as more of the student council president. He seemed like a cool dude and I love the hat!

Another great volume in one of my favorite series!

The character development has been great in the past few volumes!

There feels like there is going to be something big about to happen!
