This would be perfect for fans of Convenience Store Woman or Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine. The mundanity of the plot and slightly off-kilter storytelling style will appeal to so many people but this is a short book and I felt like I was trudging.

Quirky and endearing. I think it is easy to miss the message and commentary actually going on in the story. It is certainly a book I will be recommending to people.
