Okay guys, I'm gonna be honest with you now. This book was.. amazing. I loved the plot, I loved the events, and I sure LOVED Raffe.
So this is going to be a short review..
It's not as good as Angelfall, but it's a close one. I think I didn't like it as much as Angelfall because there was a serious lack of Raffe. Almost 70% of the book was just 'someone'

but they didn't kiss, aaaghhhI do realize that Raffe's absence was necessary because of the plot, and I liked how Susan Ee still gave us some glances of him.
Paige.. I don't really know how I feel about Paige. She kinda freaked me out being the creepy thing that she is now.

My favourite part was when Raffe and Penryn were eating cereal and peanut butter and Penryn wanted to lick peanut butter of her finger but Raffe kept throwing cereal in the Peanut butter jar because he couldn't handle her licking of her finger hahaha. I LOVED that :'DSo, that's about it I guess.. This was my very first book review, so I hoped you liked it.. It's kind of messy and short, but yeah, I'm a beginner, sorry :p
Even though there was less Raffe, I loved World After even more than Angelfall! The battle at the end was so BadA** I loved this book SO MUCH! Susan Ee is such a talented writer, and Penryn is such a good character. And Raffe is AMAZING gah I just love him! Dee & Dum are hilarious, and Paige is adorable in a Frankenstein sort of way. Also, her mom is sort of creepy, but still funny and I know she loves them. I CAN'T WAIT TILL THE NEXT BOOK!
I love the setting and gore the author has created, but honestly I think the plot could have been better developed. Still an interesting read, but I prefer Angelfall over World After. Will still read the sequel to this though.
I literally got goosebumps over my whole body. The story is so amazing. Horror, gore, romance, plot twists. Everything is perfect. The only thing I don't get is the way Susan Ee wrote the chapters. Sometimes it is a bit unnecessary to split the story in certain chapters, but that is the only thing I'm annoyed about. Can't wait for book 3!

Ok, here's what i have liked truly from the second book of Susan Ee's "World After"....

Penryn learns some thing about Raffe's past as also fragments of his feelings for her. The pace is quick with action and built up emotions. Although i didn't like that Raffe found Penryn close to the end of the story, i did loved their meeting scene and of course Raffe's humor. :)
I hope Susan Ee to continue writting and enlighten us with the rest of the story! Can't wait for the third book to arrive!
Read it folks, it's worth the time and if you come across it, without reading the first one, you will love the characters and the original story!

I really enjoy this series and I can't wait to see how the rest of the series plays out. Hopefully this will be the last time Penryn will have to rescue Paige since Paige is supposed to have a bigger role in the series. I don't want the whole books be about Penryn rescuing her sister cause that can get old fast.
I also hope that we get a clear understanding of the apocalypse cause I'm still confuse on the angels motives.
As for Raffe, well he's still awesome.
