As with most anthologies, Overclocked can be hit or miss.
Only Printcrime, which is a fun piece of flash fiction, and I, Robot stand out. The latter keeps things interesting with relatively deep characterizations and an intriguing mystery.
The rest are a bit too into the technicalities of the science or the technology to be interesting. You never get a feel for place, plot or character.

Great collection with the final story feeling especially poignant given current world events.
Doctorow has an uncommon mind, and this collection has some really interesting stories in it. Like any collection, it's a bit uneven, but for fans of Doctorow and sci-fi, it's definitely worth reading.
You get to read about coral becoming self-aware! That's pretty awesome.

Cory Doctorow’n fiktio toimii novellimuodossa. Overclocked on mainio kokoelma scifinovelleja.
Printcrime käsittelee tekijänoikeuksia ja 3d-tulostimia. When Sysadmins Rule the Earth kertoo maailmanlopusta, jonka jälkeen vain järjestelmäylläpitäjät ovat jäljellä.
Anda’s Game on toisaalta jonkinlainen tulkinta Orson Scott Cardin klassikosta Ender (englanniksi Ender’s Game), toisaalta edeltäjä For the Win -kirjalle, joka käsittelee samoja teemoja nettimoninpelien hikipajoista laajemmassa muodossa. I, Robot on nimensä mukaisesti kunnianosoitus Isaac Asimovin robottitarinoille, mutta käsittelee myös digitaalista oikeuksienhallintaa. I, Row-boat on ensimmäinen koskaan lukemani novelli, jonka päähenkilönä on soutuvene.
Kirjassa on lisäksi pienoisromaani After the Siege, joka syntyi Doctorow’n isoäidin muistoista Leningradin piirityksestä, yhdistettynä nykyaikaiseen piratismiin ja tekijänoikeuksilla jyräämiseen.
Kirjan tarinat ovat mielenkiintoisia ja ajatuksia herättäviä. Doctorow onnistuu novelleissaan yhdistämään kiinnostavat tarinat mielenkiintoisiin ideoihin ja ajatuksiin.
Kaikki tarinat löytyvät luonnollisesti Cory Doctorow’n nettisivuilta ilmaiseksi. (1.1.2012)

Cory Doctorow writes stories involving technology, but not stories bogged down in technobabble so only technosavy can understand them. His stories are about how technology affects people, for better or worse, what it means to be human in a future where everything that makes people individuals can be downloaded and copied like a computer file.
I'm sure some people would label his work dystopian, but there's always a thread of optimism there, no matter how slim, that mankind will figure it out and survive.

Anda's Game was good, the rest of the stories were far too long and tedious.
this is a really good book, i enjoyed reading it, even if i dont really get the asimov references. i havent read much scifi before, and my friend recommended this book to me as an example of scifi that doesn't leave you depressed and saddened by humanity. and he's right, this is (for the most part) hopeful scifi.
didn't much care for when sysadmins rule the earth or i, robot. my favourite was anda's game, the ending is uplifting and made me smile. printcrime was short and sweet and funny, i, rowboat about a sentient rowboat was a really enthralling look at the three laws of robotics, and after the siege was a very heavy read (but also, ultimately uplifting. but also, i need to lie down now.)
good book thanks jom
