Fun, silly at times, with lovable characters. Deducting half a star for pacing. Last 1/3 seemed a bit aimless and then the ending was abrupt (but very good).
Three women who are dating the same man discover each other then find themselves investigating his murder. Somehow, those aren't spoilers - literally in the title.
Loved the inclusion of transcripts from a trashy gossip podcast at the end of some chapters. The main character, Kat, was quirky and was funny without being over-the-top. She was relatably awkward. For example, she spills a large amount of feminine hygiene products out of her purse in front of a cute guy and explains, "I like to be prepared depending on my flow, like Goldilocks."
This appears to be the start of a series. Curious to see how...it's not like they're all gonna date the same guy again...and if that guy were to also be murdered...? Regardless, I'll keep my eye out for the next book.

This wasn’t for me. It felt like a fun idea that was not executed super well. It was leaning into immaturity for jokes that got really repetitive and it made it sort of boring. Felt like it was what a kid would think this situation would be like.
4.5 stars! This book was hilarious, unexpected, and the protagonist was written with such a perfect amount of quirk. The story was unique and new for the genre. Enjoyed it thoroughly! Definitely want to read this author in the future.
