This was a fun listen! Very campy mystery that was giving Only Murders In The Building vibes. Key takeaway - lasses before asses.

The girls could be stupid but I loved them anyway. I really loved this, it was fun.

I was really looking forward to this book and I really wanted to like it. But It felt like there was too much going on. Some parts were gross when it didn’t need to be. The podcast plot felt unnecessary. I didn’t really care about the romance, especially since it seemed like the main character couldn’t make up her mind about how she felt about her ex. Some little things that bothered me was that they mention the main character gets glitter on the body and it never gets brought up again. Also why was the main character the one that’s obsessed with idioms and not the writer in the group? Overall this felt like I was reading a John Tucker must die fanfiction.
