 I had about five different theories throughout the book and I didn't come anywhere near figuring out the ending. I don't usually read many thrillers but I enjoyed this one a lot more than I thought I would. It took me a while to get into it, but once I did I was hooked.

meh. i guess i might recommend this to someone who hasn't read many thrillers/mysteries before and is easily surprised. otherwise, this is so unnecessarily long that you can pretty much predict every plot twist because you have more than enough time to pick up and reflect on all the not-so-subtle clues. i didn't exactly see that very last plot twist coming but it felt like such a cliche cop out that it just made me roll my eyes.

This was a mess of a book for me, full of cliches, predictable "twists," and unlikable characters.

The writing was not very good, either. The similes were numerous, awkward, and unnecessary, and I knew immediately that the author was a man (every woman the narrator sees had her breasts mentioned at least once). The editor(s) needed to go through the manuscript a few more times, as I found quite a lot of the prose added nothing to neither the story nor Anna's character.

I was trapped in the book, the same way that the protagonist is trapped in her house. I seriously couldnt put it down, and finished it very fast.

holy crap, this book was a rollercoaster. just when i thought i had something figured out, another plot twist knocked me off my feet. and that last twits literally made me sick to my stomach. A little slow paced at the beginning but TOTALLY worth it if you want to read a good thriller.

There were times this book felt really slow and tedious. But the majority of the time I was completely hooked. I couldn’t get through it fast enough because I was dying to know what happened. The twists definitely kept me guessing, and it was a great thriller.
