Cracks the foundation of our understanding of human history wide open, looking at humans not as creatures of inevitability, but possibility.

I found myself avoiding reading when this was the only book I had active. It’s a very interesting concept, but the audiobook narration is almost hypnotic in its monotony, and I just don’t have time to sit down and really read something this dense at this time in life.

An amazing book that makes you question the foundations of everyday life.

It took me time and effort to make it til the end as English is not my mother tongue and lately I am reading more accessible fiction than anything else. Worth the adventure!
I took it as a counterweight for Sapiens and I learned a lot. I got a complete new view on where we may come from as an organized society.
If you have curiosity for anthropology and you feel that all this latest trend of worshipping our past of hunter gathering live sounds a little bit basic and childish, go for it!
