Dazzling, heart-splitting, ingeniously magical, a new forever favorite. I hope to become fluent enough to read it in its native Spanish someday

I would give this 3.5 stars. It was a slow read, but I enjoyed it. The characters were interesting, and it covered a culture and era I have little familiarity with. It felt like it was dragging on in some portions though.

A long read, felt like it would never end. But so richly detailed and full of magic, it was captivating.
