The book was good, but everything plot wise was very predictable. The smutty part was good, but (i cant make this up) wasnt until 69% into the audiobook. It was a fun listen but i wouldn’t say it was one that made you think. A fluffy fun book.

I honestly didn’t have high hopes for this book as stem books usually bore me but I LOVED THIS!! Adam Carlsen is definitely one of my favourite book boyfriends, I love him so much. This book also solidified my love for the grumpy x sunshine trope (potentially my new favourite!).
I think the romance between Olive and Adam progressed at the perfect pace and although the miscommunication drove me a little bit insane, I loved them together.
Anh and Malcolm were great and I loved Holden so much.
Tom can go die :)
I’d say this book is at least in my top 10 favourite romance books, potentially even top 5. I can’t wait to read Love On The Brain !

“I'm starting to wonder if this is what being in love is. Being okay with ripping yourself to shreds, so the other person can stay whole.”

I must confess that I was reticent about this book. Not because it used to be star wars fanfiction (I only discover that after buying the book) but because it is a popular book. Popular books are 50/50 to me, and I'm always reticent about starting one.  But I really liked it.

As far as romances go, this isn't the best romance that I ever read. But it's damn entertaining and I was engaged all the time. And that makes all the difference to me. It's a little cliché at some points but there are some plot points that caught me by surprise. The characters are interesting and funny, which was also a good point for me!

So, I really liked this book, and I do recommend it if you want something light and entertaining. Its a really good beach read.

The Love Hypothesis is such a wholesome book- I just couldn't get enough of the serotonin.
With all seriousness- I Loved Every Second Of It.
It was my first ever fake dating trope and was hell a lot of fun. Also the Grumpy meets Sunshine trope has my heart.
It's truly intoxicating, you're laughing, you're blushing, you're crying- it's incredible.

The plot was so intresting & I was hooked from the prologue. The meet cute was beyond adorable and funny.
The awkward tension between Adam & Olive left me feeling beyond happy, giddy and counting down till their next interaction. It was a slow burn romance- and the romantic build-up was amazing. Also Malcom's sub-characters was just Adoh-rrable!

I'm giving it 0.1 star less because the book had a single love making scene and I thought it was gonna be way steamier than that. Maybe I shouldn't have pressumed but still-🤷🏻‍♀️

I like how the author has normalised Olive & Adam's 8 years-age gap. I think in their late 20s this much of an age-gap is alright.
I liked how the author was able to mention some really serious topics such as : misogyny, death of parent, and blackmailing, even though it was such a light read.

Spoilers-

The PhD students described Dr. Carlsen as broody and unapproachable which I just found so relatable because I also have teachers like that.💀 But the reason for being blunt while giving remarks to his students was genuine and convincing. Yes, It sometimes made him come across as a complete and total jεrk but other times we get to see his tender, loving and protective side. So, I just kept falling harder and harder for him-
Olive on the other hand was so relatable. Though it was really frustrating how she was lying. I just wanted her to be upfront and honest but as the story continues we learn the reasons behind her actions and i just couldn't help but love her.

I quite liked this book, and I have no idea what all of the internet hate is about, because all I've seen on social media is about how awful this book was. I think it's because it is very obvious that it used to be Reylo fanfic, and people just hate fanfic for some reason.

Well, it was quite good, and fell into several tropes that I really like, including fake dating and real feels. It features demi-sexuality rep, Jewish rep, and Olive discovered a lot about herself and what she really wants in life as the story goes on. There were aspects I thought could be better, but it was fun. Olive was witty and incredibly genre-savvy, and while Adam was pretty one-dimensional, he does grow a fair amount as a character.
