never thought i'd read this book due to its...origin story, but i gave in.

oh my god. i love adam and olive SO MUCH

docked 0.75⭐️ for...that one comment, iykyk. but minus that, i loved this slowburn and was giggling & kicking my feet the whole time!

i will say -- as someone who is demisexual, i wish the author put more effort into olive's relationship with her sexuality. it was still nice to see, but there should've been more.

JUST WOW!!! I ate this book!!
I mean sure, did I expect the mystery man from the beginning to be Adam? of course!! but the book still surprised me in every single chapter!! i cheered Adam and Olive  on to allow themselves to fall in love with each other and maaannn they did. i felt  very inspired by Ol‘s determination to become a scientist in a male-dominant field because of her mothers early passing due to cancer. I would be really interested in a part 2 where not only the love story of Adam and Ol continues maybe with some more high‘s and lows but also where Ol is successful with her research and becomes a famous scientist because she really deserves it!!
To conclude: it was one of the cutest love stories i have ever read!! i loved reading it!! i might even read it again :)

As a STEM student myself, I loved the setting. Although, it was very cringey whenever Olive would mention romance novel tropes, it took me out of the story.

this was a pretty good book. It’s like your average book that you would read like average romance. If you’re not like really searching for anything specific, it wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t really good. It was a pretty normal romance book, although the ending really made me mad when that guy was coming off on olive.

First, I have to say that I didn’t wanna read this book and fired for myself, but when my mum found it for free, I was like okay, let’s go
I was very cheesy and cringy.
The Romans writing was very Wattpad, which if you like it then fine, but I just don’t want to read a normal book written like a Wattpad story. It has a very explicit smut scene That’s also quite Wattpad written if I have to say.
I guess I enjoyed a bit more than I thought I would because I thought I would not enjoy it at all. I don’t think I wanna read it again, but it was cool that they had lots of chemistry right from the beginning and you figure out a lot of different things in the course of the book.
I’m not sure if it bothers me, but I really couldn’t ignore the age gap and that she is a student and he is a professor. It’s just a bit weird
