Oh goodness, this book broke my heart over and over again. As a Friends superfan, I will always be so grateful for the absolute gift of acting and comedy that Matthew Perry has. And I believe this book was a true look into the ups and downs of addiction. It's not a light read, it's heavy. But it's important work.

Total garbage. I've never read an auto-biography that made me despise the individual...until now. I listened to the audiobook and his narration makes it even worse. His proud intonation when he writes about beating up who was then the future prime minister is truly repulsive.

This book was quite haunting, knowing where he is now. Friends is my comfort show, always there for me at my lowest points. I never knew the severity of what he was dealing with, or for how long. I have a newfound respect for Matthew, and all addicts. Everyone deserves grace.

I hope he found and fulfilled his purpose before he left this earth, just like he always wanted to.

Sad to read after he passed. But he was so funny!
