I read this almost immediately after finishing Neon Gods, the first book in this series, and I have basically nothing to say against this book. It was amazing! I had so much fun with this book, and I absolutely adored basically everything about it. Psyche was amazing, and I loved how sweet but crafty she could be. She was so smart and such a well developed character. I also had a connection to her from the previous book, so I loved seeing her as a main character in this one. Eros was, similarly to Hades, not really my usual type, but in a vastly different way. However, despite him not being someone I usually find attractive in books, I fell head over heels for him. I don't know what it is about him that killed me, but I adored him so much. He was an amazing character, and I really enjoyed going through and learning about his past trauma and watching as he deals with it and comes to some very interesting realizations about his life. As with Neon Gods, I also enjoyed how well developed the side characters seemed as well. They were just as real, and I was impressed with how they seemed to subtly develop along with the major character development the main characters went through.

I thought this book was really well done. As opposed to the first book, I was really hooked by the plot because the author was able to create a new story.

Psyche was an awesome character and I liked how her relationship with Eros evolved. This book had a bigger exploration into family dynamics and body image which made me connect more with the characters.

The ending scene was also so sweet especially
when Hades and Eros talked and connected because neither of them have families.

This series has awesome female characters and I'm excited to keep reading.

Loved the audiobook narrators! I enjoyed this continuation of Katee Roberts’ Olympus universe.

I just love this book so much. Plot structure is similar to Neon Gods which I don't mind at all (the following books in the series are completely different!). Still, characters and plot definitely aren't the same and I am obsessed. I don't understand how she writes so many books and yet makes sure that all characters are different. It's typical insta-love "KR slowburn" with a few enemies to lovers elements. If you liked Neon Gods you will love this one as well!

There's nothing better than Katee Robert's plus-size heroines! The way Eros talks about her body warms my heart and actually makes me feel pretty.

It is a stand-alone but I recommend reading them all in order. (because spoilers)

I re-read it today to calm my anxiety, I think that says a lot. SpoilerNo need to feel anxious when Psyche asks for A's phone number and leaves.

If you are new to Katee Robert, check her website. It has TW, tropes, tags, everything.

This was a really interesting read. I thought the story was well-paced and kept me on my toes. I enjoyed the dynamic between Psyche and Eros.
