I absolutely loved Eighteen Wishes. Sorens' writing is fast-paced and the characters are wonderfully complex. Romance is not normally a genre I read, but I raced through this book. Sorens is a skilled world-builder and she adds just enough detail in her magic system to keep this fantasy fan intrigued and engaged. I love how the book tackles difficult issues and the ending leaves me very excited for the next book in the series.
