Super short, this novella focuses on Sam and Bridget. I would have loved a full novel on their relationship, but this was fun.

Series: Nocturne Falls #4.6
Rating: 3 stars - I like it

Bridget Merrow has almost everything a werewolf could wish for. She has a wonderful family, a popular business, and a cute nephew. What she doesn’t have is someone to share it with. The one she wants doesn’t want her. But when they get trapped together on Christmas eve they are forced to deal with the feelings between them.

Another short and sweet Nocturne Falls novella. Bridget and Sam’s potential relationship were introduced at the end of The Werewolf Meets His Match but then they haven’t been mentioned since. We find out why in this novella. Bridget finally stops letting Sam push her away and makes him realize that their relationship deserves a chance. I liked Bridget and Sam but I wish the story was a little bit longer so we could have gotten more development in their relationship. This story takes place over Christmas eve night so we don’t get a lot of development but there is still a lot of emotion portrayed in that short amount of time.

Overall, another great holiday novella for the series. I do hope these two pop up in future books so we can see how their relationship develops.

Cute short. Surprised Bridget and Sam didn’t get their own full length. But I was mostly satisfied with this quickly.

This is a sweet Christmas short story about love and the obstacles you put in your own way of happiness.

I highly recommend this short story as well whole the Nocturne Fall series. You won't be disappointed.

Bridget Merrow felt a connection to Sam Kincaid in the second book in this series (about six months ago.) But, other than some almost-kisses. He hasn't mad a move since. Now it's Christmas, it's snowing, and she needs a truck to deliver some champagne to a customer. And Sam is available to help. When the two get locked into a freezer, everything changes.
Short, sweet. Obviously not deep. Definitely need to have read the rest of the series to enjoy.

Cold heat

Sometimes people need a little push or in the case of Bridget shove with chaos and Christmas deliveries gone wrong to change the way things are going. It may be mid August but I still highly enjoyed the snow and werewolf capers that unfolded in this short. Fingers crossed for more news in future books.

My biggest issue with this? It too short!
I wanted MORE of Sam. And more of Bridget and .... Well just more of all the goodness that is Nocturne Falls.

Painter is a brilliant at her craft and this cute little story is just more proof of it. It's short and quick but one feels instantly connected to the two characters. I fell in love with Sam when he made his first appearance in the series in The Werewolf Meets His Match. And this didn't change one thing, in fact.. I adore him even more. In a few pages we see where the two MCs stand in their lives and we get to witness how they overcome their fears and insecurities. And their chemistry is off the charts- again.
In The Werewolfs Christmas Wish we get the happy ending we were all hoping for Sam in book 2 of the series.
I also got another glimpse of the Ellingdales- And can I just say: PLEASE for the sake of love let there be books for the two other brothers as well!!

fast & cute read - a good oldie story line, with it's own little twists. Very entertaining and enjoyable.
If you haven't read the series, no worries, this does work as standalone as well.
Soooo, If you are looking for cute, lighthearted PNR, that is well written and has fab world building- Look no longer.

Listened to this through Audible Escape. I'll give this 2.5 stars, I couldn't really get into it. It was so short, so there wasn't that much of a plot.
