I love reading books about books. Or bookstores. Or booksellers. And this book had it all! This book named titles and authors I’ve read and/or have on my TBR, which really pulled me into the story.

I loved how the story of Irma and Elliot unfolded and how it brought Thom, Bree, and Laney into the mix. I enjoyed the evolution of all their relationships, as well as Laney and Tuck’s side story, but I would have liked more development between Bree and Witt!

This book gets points just for mentioning Dr. Tererai Trent. Boy are the main characters annoying. The first time Bree and Laney go for a walk alone I swore they hated each other. It was such a random interaction. I didn't love the characters but the story kept me til the end.

It was just so predictable to me and I couldn’t get my head around the characters motives and feelings. It was dry and I couldn’t keep reading when I knew exactly why was going to happen
