Semicomnected vignettes in this brief graphic memoir; decent read, but felt a little too sparse

What a humbling work. Deft, deadpan, profound but not preachy or despairing.

Saw this on the shelves in the library and snagged it. So sad and funny at the same time, had to read some pages out loud to my guy so he understood why I was cracking up. I like a little darkness in my hummer too so, yes, this was for me.

Magnificent. A top read of 2019 for me.
It helped that I identified with some (although certainly not all) of the author's travails. Regardless, the material made me laugh out loud at parts, and at other parts, was almost overwhelming in its nostalgia and wistfulness. It's hard for me to express how much I loved this!

One of those graphic novels that isn’t really about anything specific, just life. And that’s ok. Interesting observations. Wit. Charm.

I don't understand all the fuss about this author, and more so after reading this charming but rather bland collection of little stories. Maybe I should read Powdered Milk first.
