Very interesting travelogue. I am a bit freaked out by the various new tropical diseases and parasites this has altered me to the existence of. Reflective and ultimately sad. Worth a read.

Was good, interesting. Definitely ages increasingly poorly in terms of social issues/commentary, but taking that into consideration, it is a good book for what it sets out to achieve. Can be slow, but the commentary and personalities of the people O’Hanlon writes of shine through spectacularly.
