[Second Read - 4.75 stars - February 2022]

It's been long enough that I forgot a lot of this story. This book has made it through several purges from my owned books because I remember liking the relationship in this one. And I wasn't wrong. I still liked it. I don't know what it is about the two main characters. They aren't groundbreaking or anything, but I just found them to be so sweet and I enjoyed reading about them. The angst in this one is spot on too. The story itself isn't that unique, but was popular at the time. It just worked for me.

[First Read - 4 stars - May 2018]
Cover: 3/5

Story: 4/5

I was kind of surprised by how much I liked this one. I've read quite a few dystopian stories, although it has been awhile so maybe I'm not completely burnt out. I liked both Ivy and Bishop. While she seemed naive about her family's intentions, overall I liked her. I thought Bishop was sweet and their romance was sweet.
