This might be my new fave romcom? This was ngl EVERYTHING. It was funny, charming, SEXY and just... everything. I genuinely enjoyed EVERY single moment about it and christ the spice? It was .... so good. Genuinely so good. Pls Meryl Wilsner write the motorbike spice scene as an additional chapter pls.
The pacing was a little bit weird sometimes in a way of "wym 2 months passed i thought this was yesterday" that got me confused sometimes but compared EVERYTHING ELSE? This was so good. Idk what to say. I had SO much fun reading this. Like genuinely SO MUCH.

I really, really wanted to like this book more. I found the writing to be repetitive and lacking. I constantly was having moments of deja vu because the same lines were repeated a couple pages apart. Also, the fact that Cassie was referred to as “the woman” multiple times made me cringe. Did I finish it? Yes. Did it keep my attention enough to get through it fairly quickly? Sure. But I don’t know that I would recommend this book to anyone.
This was SUCH A GOOD BOOK! WOW. So I listened to the audiobook because I couldn’t wait to read it any longer and whew it was spicy. I plan to buy the paperback version still but I’m so happy I finally listened to it! Definitely recommend

I still cannot believe that I didn't have to wait until October to get my hands on this book, because I really was not sure I could wait that long for a Wilsner book.
When I read Something To Talk About, I was in awe of the way Wilsner built a relationship with so much chemistry, and how they worked through a really complex, possibly problematic situation, and found a way to make the relationship real and moral and overflowing with love.
I wasn't as impressed by Mistakes Were Made. While Something to Talk About felt like something special, Mistakes felt like a really fun, super smutty romance, but also underwhelming. It's exactly what's on the tin: college student sleeps with older woman. Older woman turns out to be her friend's mom. They try to not repeat things, fail spectacularly and hide their relationship.
I LOVED Cassie and Erin, everything from their chemistry to how they worked through things with Parker and to their own personal growth. It was a great romance, and the difficulties of the relationship are worked through very well. I think if I hadn't been so blown away by the complexity of Something to Talk About, I would feel a little more satisfied.
Thank you NetGalley for an advanced copy in exchange for an honest review.

this felt like reading a swanqueen fanfiction (in the best way!)
Okay this was cute and frustrating and hot and a bit of an angst read for me. I’m hitting a bit of a slump, so I didn’t enjoy this one as much as I could have if I had read it faster, but that’s not the authors fault is it now?

I love this freaking book with my whole heart. When I heard it was Milf book, I got super excited, and the book did not let me down. Let's not forget the fact that I read it in a day. That's how good the book was; I could not put it down.
This book is hot asf!!!
I usually struggle with the start of books but with Mistakes were made, I didn't. I loved it from begging to end.
I'm sad that I have finished it because that means I have to say goodbye to Erin and Cassie.
Btw if you are a massive smut lover, then this is your type of book because there was a lot of that between Erin and Cassie.
I'm so glad I saw this on someone's tbr because I would have most definitely missed out. Just saying this is your sign to read to beautiful, sexy book.

Erin and Cassie (Lomls), Acacia, Parker and Rachel
