The CHEMISTRY between these ladies?! Geeeez louise. The will-they-won’t-they gave me heart palpitations until the last 15 pages. Delicious character building without boring us with trauma dumping or unnecessary backstory. Just a cut and dry forbidden love WLW modern romance.
My only complaint was feeling a little lost and frustrated when it came to the conflict with a secondary character for the final act of the book. I didn’t agree with the main characters reactions and felt left in the dark and a little let down by the “reveal” when it was resolved.
overall. spicy. sweet. hot. well written. hard to put down. i found myself worrying about the characters even when i wasn’t actively reading.

This rating is more about vibes. Overall it was a bit insta-lusty for me, and I wanted a bit more depth to the characters. But there was something about this that drew me in, I just really enjoyed the read. the spice was great and the ending was so cute.
The main issue throughout the book is hiding their relationship, so everything could have been solved with honesty and an adult conversation. but like I still enjoyed myself?
Something about the sweet texts and them falling for eachother without realizing it had me in the feels.
