DID NOT FINISH: 54%

Why does this less than 300 page book read like it's a million pages long 😩 I've been trying to read this for over a year and it is both doing too much, repeating itself every five minutes, and yet nothing seems to be happening. All I wanted was more Rapunzel but this story feels like it's dragging 70 feet of text and never reaching the end.

and they were roommates

2-2.5 stars really. Bedtime read for a 3yr-old.
Obviously I’m not the intended audience but I really was not a fan. Mostly the characters were just so ā€œteenā€. Hate to be a hater but YA is not my bag.
So again, I’m not the intended audience. Plus my daughter seemed to enjoy it well enough and fell asleep, as needed. Thus the bump UP to 3 stars.

Cute little story

The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars is because I wasn’t absolutely hooked on it. But it was a really fun read, dual narrative which I love, and a good storyline.

i feel my rating might be a bit unfair as i am 18, if i had been a little younger i definitely would have given this a higher rating. i wanted to read it because i love tangled the series and cassandra is one of my favorite characters ever. i loved getting to know how she became rapunzel’s lady in waiting and i love her and eugene’s dynamic.
