I enjoyed book one, but this was terrible! Both leads annoyed me and I wasn't rooting for either of them.

This was so good! Emery Rose has a way of writing that makes you want to keep reading. Just like with Wilder Love, i picked up Sweet Chaos and didn't put it down until i read all 324 pages. She sucks me in good. I may be biased because i like my romance novels to have some edge, having characters who have gone through hardships is my kryptonite. I don't normally write reviews, but i loved both Wilder Love and Sweet Chaos that i had to leave something here to show my appreciation. Read them! You won't be disappointed!

This was so unbelievably good.  Dylan was everything I knew he would be and more.  When I found out he was paired with Scarlet, I had no idea how Emery Rose would make that happen given how much him and Sienna seemed to work so well.  The toxic vs. good love was so clear and made a lot of sense once we got to know Scarlet.  This had the exact right amount of angst and groveling when Dylan inevitably screwed up (lol).  I can't believe how good this series is-- every one of them is a banger.

This is the second book in the Love and Chaos series and I enjoyed this story so much. We see a little bit of Dylan in the first book, but getting to know him on a deeper level and seeing how he grew from childhood trauma and toxic relationships in the past was my favorite. He is broken and doesn’t think he deserves love.

Scarlett was such a beautiful, free-spirit and I loved her and Dylan together. She did her own thing and was so carefree. She has also loved Dylan for years. The angst, the emotions, the heartache… it was so good.

I also loved Dylan’s relationship with his sister, Remy. He is so protective and good to her. He only wants what’s best for her and cares for her so much. Their relationship is beautiful.

I definitely recommend this entire series for lovers of forbidden romance and second chances.

This book could have been 4 stars but I felt like the end wasn’t satisfying. There were too many loose ends that I didn’t think were answered well enough (if at all). Also would have been a bit more believable if both characters were 5 years older.
