Throttled is a fun tension filled romance. Maya and Noah have palpable chemistry that built up great tension in this forbidden romance (brother’s teammate/rival!). I appreciated Noah growth throughout the story. I’m interested to see how the rest of the series is. Would recommend!

I liked the plot but to me the 'conflict' felt more exaggerated than it should have been, like I thought it wasn't a big deal if they hooked up or not. Although I understand Maya's reluctance to being just one girl more. Overall i felt like I was more of a fan of the secondary characters than I was of Maya and Noah, which makes me excited because I can't wait to read everyone else's books

The relationship between the two main characters relied a ton on smut and not so much on actual relationship building. The story wasn’t bad but I do think it could’ve been stronger.

“The glint in his eye and the smile on his face promise more. That’s a problem for future me.” 🏎🏎🏎

Maya has just graduated and is not sure what direction to go in next. Her brother, Santi, is an Formula 1 racer and he decides to take her along. There she meets Noah Slade — F1 hottie with a fúćkäble body & a smile that makes girls weak at the knees. Maya cannot stand Noah, so she does everything to avoid him…. 😏😏😏

Maya & Noah are adorbs🥰 The banter and tension was good! Racing is not something I really know, so it was fun to get a peek into that world through this book. Noah’s character growth was fantastic — I freaking LOVED how self aware he was. 🙂 The spice 🔥😮‍💨 Overall I wasn’t as obsessed with this book as I thought I would be, but I will still check the rest of the books out!

HOLY MOTHERFORKING SHIRTBALLS.

Though I actually wanna admit that the conflict resolution fell a bit flat...I'd like to see more conflict between Maya and Santi as siblings.

This was a solid read for me but not a love or anything by any means - the writing bothered me at times tbh but I got used to that thankfully cause otherwise I probably would’ve dnf’ed it tbh
I did like Maya and Noah together but ya idk it just wasn’t all that for me
I might read the other books in this series? But possibly not cause just eh I’m not that into it or the characters too much
Edit: changing it from 3.5 to 3 stars cause meh book deserves meh rating lol a- also I remember literally nothing abt this book
