This was interesting, I liked the writing and it was an easy read. I liked Jo and all the side characters too, the autism representation was good and important. However, the plot got really convoluted and confusing and a bit off the wall, like the explanation of the murder mystery was so strange

Good book. Interesting plot. Nothing too stand out about it though. Some of the chapter felt like they were jumping around in the timeline or who’s pov it was in (probably easier to understand in the physical book and not an audiobook)
I though the ending was a nice way to wrap up the storyline about the family member who passed but the baby box was really sad.

Being an overly literal type I'm still confused why it's called the frame women, plural, when only one framed portrait really comes into importance for the story. I liked Jo but the responses of so many other characters was irritating at best. Bad social skills do not equal muuuuurderrrr.

I loved this mystery! I loved the characters, the side quests, and the overall story. Jo Jones is amazing and I love her.

I was still reading the book but immediately went to find more books with her and there are none and that made me sad. But if there is never another Jo Jones book, I loved this one!

I enjoyed this, and I found the autism representation really well-done. Mysteries are generally not my genre of choice, mainly because I don't enjoy the cop stuff. There were a couple references to how people are so trusting of police, and I just couldn't suspend my disbelief that far. Do people really look at a cop and think they're trustworthy until proven otherwise? Seems weird.

I have so much to say I'd need an essay. Very few qualms bring this down from a perfect 5star

This was a very good mystery with a different style to switching narrators than I usually read.
I can't really specify what it was any how the narrators were changing that felt unique, just that the characters felt very distinct and different, which is pretty common, but very well done here.
