The artwork in this one is next level. Each girl is telling a scary story, and every scary story has a different style of art. It's absolutely incredible.

The girls camp with its own spooky stories.. I liked this as an opening for new story arc.

TEN STARS. Oh my holy Juliette Gordon Low, I loved this issue. (Of course I did.) Is there anything better than a poorly told ghost story from the brain of a preteen girl? Yes, SEVEN OF THEM. The different idiolect and art style for each girl's story made for a brilliant storytelling mode as well -- the style for Ripley's story in particular reminded me of Claudia Kishi, and ofc that's fucking tremendous praise.

What happened to the illustrations? :---( I prefer the volume 1 and 2's. But oh well.

The new artist worried me but I should have known better. In fact the change in style supported the story here, with the ghost stories benefitting from individual art. Awesome as always.

I enjoyed the various art styles that accompanied the different stories, but overall this issue was pretty lackluster for me. I didn't find the stories to be particularly interesting.
