This short story ended in a big tease, Raze and Kim had an instant connection and neither wanted to be a one night stand like they have a lot.

The fallen are angels who have lost their wings so this is a paranormal romance about fallen angels who have turned into vampires.
Kim and Raze meet in a bar, Raze a vampire trying to find someone to spend the night with and a good blood drink and Kim on a night out with girlfriends.
The ending to the story of fallen angels makes me want to read the actual sirst book in the series to see if their love will last or if they are destined for a doomed relationship.

I loved Raze and I liked Kim. I liked the story itself. But it was just way too short and then it just ended!!!
Yes I know it is a novella BUT lets just call it what it really is a TEASE!! So we all wait around on pins & needles waiting to find out what happens. Only to be told ehhhh it will be out whenever the author feels like it while they suck you into their other book series.

This was hot even though there weren't any actual sex scenes. The intimacy and flirting made it obvious they had hot sex. I'm eager to read the other books to see where the story goes.
This novella raised enough interest for me to give the next book in the series a try. I enjoyed Kim's character, she seems to have a naughty sense of humor that I connect with.

I saw the covers for this series a while ago and added it to my to-be-read pile so when I saw this prequel novella for free on Amazon, I thought I'd give it a bash.
The story itself would have been alright if it wasn't for the fact that the author tried to cram SO much information into this very short tale. I like background info and back story but, knowing this is a prequel novella, I feel the author could have left some of it for the actual full length book. There was so much background going on that there wasn't enough room for the story to unfold properly.
Saying that, I'll probably still read the series. I can only hope that the full length books are easier to read given the fact that they have more words and pages to tell the story.
