Bella la prima parte, più analitica e fredda nella descrizione… interessante come cercasse di far passare la coercizione come qualcosa che la stessa Lolita voleva anche se a più riprese lei lo respingeva; bello narratore inattendibile, ma come per molti romanzi psicologici/psicanalitici dalla metà diventa più oscuro, rapido, difficile da capire, concitato, ma a tratti noioso nelle descrizioni di ragazzine, luoghi, tappe, sintomi ecc

A really captivating read, Nabokov’s brilliance as a writer and grasp of the English language (his second language!) is evident. Thoroughly disturbing.
